Last Weekend In January Already?

Good Morning Cintucky! The weekend is finally here! We have a slew of College Basketball activity this afternoon starting with:

UL @ #9 West Virginia - 12pm on ESPN. Huge game for the Cards vs Hug's Thugs (Anybody notice how before Huggins got there, it was all just country boys playing ball, and once Huggins arrived it is UC thugs all over again?). This is going to be a tough game going into West Virginia for the Cardinals but a victory would go along way in boosting their NCAA tourney resume.

#1 UK vs #23 Vanderbilt - 4pm on ESPN. The world will find out how Cal's Cats bounce back after a lack-luster defeat against South Carolina. Vanderbilt is coming off an impressive win over Tennessee and is currently sitting in first place in the SEC. I would expect UK to come out more fired up than we've seen all year. And of course, Rupp will be rocking.

UD @ St. Bonnies - 7 pm. Obviously not on national TV but you can watch the game by going to www.daytonflyers.com. Dayton's season is on the verge of going off the deep end after back-to-back last second losses in the A-10. The A-10 won't get many teams in the tournament and Dayton has already lost to Xavier, St. Joe's, and Rhode Island. Basically Dayton needs to win out from here, or win the A-10 tournament. And everyone knows they suck in the A-10 tournament. Brian Gregory, you piss me off.

Lets hope for a good weekend of Cintucky Basketball!

In an unrelated story, here is the type of car that Rey Maualuga was driving (drunk) when he slammed into two other cars and a parking meter:

Two important questions:
-Is it even possible for him to fit into that thing???
-31 teams in the NFL have more scouts than the Bengals. That is every team in the NFL. Maybe there is a reason why other teams passed on the College Football Defensive Player of the Year in last years draft...and the reason is: poor Bengals management. (Seriously until you win a playoff game Mike Brown, everything is your fault. Hell, Carson Palmer could get diarrhea before a game and it would still be your fault (It would probably be due to the one-level-below-Taco-Bell grade meat you bring into your stadium. Scrooge.))

But hey it's alright everybody, Rey pled NOT-GUILTY. That MUST mean he is innocent.
